Bobby Moore Scott was born on June 16, 1937, to Robert & Eula (Young) Scott in Waterloo, Alabama. He was baptized at the Church of Christ in Waterloo. Bob graduated from Central High School and joined the U.S. Air Force in 1955. He was stationed in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he met Mary Nichols and they were united in marriage on September 16, 1958.
Thru his career in the Air Force, the family lived in Homestead, Florida, and Marquette Michigan. Following the Air Force, Bob went to work for Byron & Bill Baker of Baker’s Construction as a carpenter. He later went to work for Peter Kiewitt in Omaha and worked in Building Construction until he retired. Bob enjoyed restoring antique cars and vegetable gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of Manley, Nebraska; son and daughter-in-law, Larry & Brenda Scott of Manley, Nebraska; daughter and son-in-law, Trish & Larry Schliefert of Murdock, Nebraska; and two grandsons, Gregory Schliefert of Murdock and Joshua Schliefert of Manley. Bob leaves behind four brothers, Gary Scott, David (Patsy) Scott & Jim Scott all of Alabama and Jack Scott of Indiana, one sister Peg (Raymond) Benson of Alabama, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Eula Scott, two brothers, Dan Scott & Steve Scott and one sister, Earline McFall and two sisters-in-law, Bobbie Scott and Joyce Scott.
