Condolences

Condolence From: Sara Meyers
Condolence: I can remember Uncle Wayne & my dad, Keith, eating oyster stew & enjoying a cold brew on New Year's Eve (as was their tradition). Telling their little girls the oysters were still alive & able to see all the way down their throats & into their stomachs - making us laugh & shudder with the thought of it! I might also add that it takes a brave man to drive a station wagon full of women & girls halfway across the country & back. Uncle Wayne was always cheerful & patient the entire trip ~ but then again that was his nature. Every time I picture him he's smiling. To Holly, Steph, & family - Uncle Wayne was one of the good ones, & I will miss him. ~ Sara

Condolence From: Jenny Meyer
Condolence: We are so sorry for your loss. I worked at the nursing home where Wayne lived for a while. He was always soo sweet and talkative. I really enjoyed going into his room to visit with him. I also brought over my 4 year old son often to say hi. My son would knock on the door, and after entering, Wayne would have such a nice big smile and a hand shake. My son enjoyed stopping by to visit. He will be missed.
