Obituary for Alice Faye "Lisa" Timmins (Moorehead)

My Aunt Lisa was born in Coolidge, Arizona to Juanita and Bill Moorhead. She had six siblings which are Dale, Jerry and Tony all brothers who passed away years ago and is survived by her sisters Louise and Lorene and a brother Allen.
Lisa had three children, Elaine,Melody and Charles but unfortunately Lisa did not keep in contact with them and my attempts to find any of them were unsuccessful,
I am Lorene's daughter and in my younger years growing up I spent a lot of time with Lisa. She lived with us a few times over the years, but there has not been a lot of contact for the past 15 years or so. She seemed happy then.
while Lisa had many struggles with depression, especially in most recent years, she used to enjoy life. She was a generous person when she could afford to be. Career wise she worked as a bartender or server. she inherited a sum of money quite a few years ago, but spend it all within a short time-living life to the fullest. She bought expensive clothes, went out to fancy dinners and traveled. The last time saw her she talked a lot about the cruised she went on but I can't seem to remember where that cruise took her. Maybe someone reading this can remember. Anyway i think that was one of the high points of her life. She had no worries and was carefree. Unfortunately that time came to an end. I know that my mother Lorene and my aunt Louise made numerous attempts to help her over these last few years. Louise final attempt to help was to move Lisa closer to her in Nebraska. But even with that support Lisa fell deeper into depression and illness, that ultimately caused a infection which could not be cured.
The last time I saw Lisa she had a little dog named Mandy and I think Mandy was the love of Lisa's life. Mandy was with Lisa longer than any husband she ever had and faithfully stood by Lisa even when she could not properly care for her. I know that wherever Lisa is now she can rest peacefully knowing that Mandy was adopted by a loving owner.
Lisa loved her canine companions. She lived most of the last years of her life in Mojave CA. where she took care of stray dogs even when she could barely feed herself. She really did have a generous heart.
I was going to include in this obituary the names of her husbands, but I didn't really know any of them. The only man I ever knew that was there for Lisa was a man named James who passed away many years ago. they were together several years and he was a nice man. I think he made her happy.
Lisa passed away in Nebraska and will be buried at the Oakwood Cemetery in Weeping Water next to her Mom Juanita and nephew Ricky. Because she has little family and few friends Lisa kept in contact with, there is no formal service.
This eulogy is sent to you in place of that and I hope she is remembered fondly
- May you rest in peace Lisa. We Love You -
